Bring your tick specimens to the Uncas Health District office or our Mobile Health Van for free testing. We're also giving away removal kits! Only ticks removed from humans will be tested for disease-carrying bacteria; ticks from animals will be identified (deer tick or dog tick). Protect yourself and your loved ones from tick-borne illnesses!

We provide a range of critical services, including COVID and flu vaccines, rapid testing for Hepatitis C and HIV, syringe services, tick testing, blood pressure screenings, smoking cessation support, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and education on public health topics.
