Not counting some kinds of skin cancer, breast cancer in the United States is the most common cancer in Women, no matter your race or ethnicity.  The Uncas Health District is committed to educating the public on the risks associated with breast cancer and ways to reduce the risk. The District participates in efforts to increase community screening rates and to promote early diagnosis. In some cases, women may be eligible for free screening and diagnostic services.
