2007 CPSC Lead-Related Recalls PDF Print E-mail

Thus far, 2007 has proven to be a busy year for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) with regard to lead hazards. During 2006 there were 20 lead-related recalls total. So far in 2007 there have been 31 recalls, 1 statement, and 1 warning issued. Eighteen (18) of the recalls involved children's jewelry. The following is the list of lead-related recalls that have been issued during 2007:

15th - Children's Necklaces Sold at Claire's Stores
15th - Children's Mood Necklaces
28th - Regent Products Stuffed Ball Toys

April:

May:
