2007 CPSC Lead-Related Recalls |

Thus far, 2007 has proven to be a busy year for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) with regard to lead hazards. During 2006 there were 20 lead-related recalls total. So far in 2007 there have been 31 recalls, 1 statement, and 1 warning issued. Eighteen (18) of the recalls involved children's jewelry. The following is the list of lead-related recalls that have been issued during 2007:

February: 7th - Children's Rings by Shalom International 7th - Children's Bracelets by DM Merchandising 13th - Samara Brothers Boys Jackets 20th - Statement on Vinyl Lunchboxes 23rd - Children's Jewelry by Crimzon Rose 23rd - Children's Rings by Lari Jewelry
March: 7th - Children's Two-Sided Easels 13th - Children's Necklaces by United Imports 13th - Toy Sets by Toys-R-Us 15th - Children's Necklaces Sold at Claire's Stores 15th - Children's Mood Necklaces 28th - Regent Products Stuffed Ball Toys
April: 3rd - Children's Bracelets by A&A Global 3rd - Metal Key Chains by Dollar General 17th - Children's Necklaces and Charm Bracelets
